Do you know that apartment owners can vote at the owners' meeting electronically?

On March 30, 2021, the government bill 115/2021 Coll. was approved. Thanks to it, during the period of the pandemic, owners can exercise their right to vote at the meeting of owners or in a written vote also through electronic voting.
The ANASOFT company therefore decided to incorporate the possibility of electronic voting into the DOMUS information system, which already manages more than 800,000 residential and non-residential premises, as quickly as possible.
Last week, ANASOFT presented the solution to its customers through an online broadcast. This is a group of approximately 250 administrators who can thus provide their clients with an innovative possibility of electronic voting.
How electronic voting of owners works
During the period of the pandemic, owners can exercise their right to vote at a meeting of owners or in a written vote, according to a special regulation, also through the means of information and communication technology.
Owners cannot authorize other persons to represent them in electronic voting.
Electronic voting is possible for all owners whose administrators manage premises in the DOMUS information system. Electronic voting is implemented through the portal www.poschodoch.sk.
Owners who have signed an agreement on electronic communication or whose electronic communication is dealt with in a management contract can vote.
How electronic voting works
Electronic voting includes two operations. The first is sending an email to the owner, which contains the web address of the vote.
In the second step, an SMS message will arrive containing the owner's unique voting code. In this way, verification is ensured in two ways - via email and via phone.
Extended voting options
The system allows multiple votes to take place in parallel. Multiple voting questions can be submitted in one vote. The system automatically discards duplicates in e-mails or telephone numbers, so that, for example, a developer who has 50 apartments will not receive 50 identical e-mails or SMS messages.
Nevertheless, the owner of several premises has the opportunity to vote for each property separately, if there is a reason to do so. He can also choose the option of the same accelerated voting for all premises at once.
After the end of voting, a confirmation email will be sent to the owner responsible for voting. Mail contains attachments - ballots for all areas.
When will electronic voting be launched?
The DOMUS information system is currently testing the deployment of electronic voting in selected houses, while the launch itself is expected after testing and fine-tuning in mid-May 2021.

ANASOFT has decided that the use of the new electronic voting functionality will be free for its clients until the end of 2021.
