Oracle Mobile Server provides field workers with current data Europe-wide

Our German branch Anasoft Technology implemented an extensive automatic data- and software-sharing solution based on the Oracle Mobile Server for Europe’s largest trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull. The application “Cargosell”, developed and maintained by Anasoft Technology, allows automatic online notebook synchronization for mobile workers via the Mobile Oracle Server. From now on, field workers will be automatically provided with current customer and sales information. Additionally, it is possible to update software modules and transfer all customer information recorded offline to the main server or database.
Therewith the up to date information and applications are from now on available offline on every portable terminal of the trailer company. The complex and time-consuming synchronization via CD-Rom has now finally become a thing of the past.
