High-availability online/offline applications for smartphones and tablets (Apple IPad – IPhone / Google Android)

In cooperation with the Chair of Software Engineering Ruhr-University Bochum, Prof. Dr. Helmut Balzert, Anasoft Technology AG in Bochum currently carries out a project to develop high-availability solutions for online & offline business applications available for Android smartphones and tablets.
Therefore a framework is developed to provide central corporate data from an Oracle database via the Oracle Mobile Server locally and according to the individual requirements of every smartphone and tablet user.
The new framework offers Anasoft customers the opportunity to operate highly available enterprise applications both in the office and in the field (e.g. sales, customer service) on mobile phones and tablet devices. The data, processed on mobile devices, is automatically transferred to the enterprise database, once online connection has been established.
So centrally managed applications can be used on portable devices even in "dead zones" or and no-service areas at any time.
