The DIGITÁLNY PODNIK 2015 conference (2015 Digital Undertaking) was held on June 16 and 17, 2015. CEIT Group, which is involved in innovation and research, and TREND magazine were its organizers. ANASOFT conducted a survey about the needs and shortcomings among manufacturing companies based on a questionnaire that it distributed to conference participants at its presentation stand.

The results of the survey suggested that there was room for improvement particularly in terms of the productivity of manufacturers. 75% of the respondents expressed the need for improvement in this area.

56 % of the respondents felt that logistics was a problematic area; 44 % saw room for improvement in the area of production quality, 25% in maintenance management and 15% of respondents cited safety in production and the traceability of data related to the manufactured products.

The following were the other topics designated by the conference visitors as potential areas for improvement:

  • Supervision over assembling activities of workers
  • Systematic approaches to and setting of internal processes
  • Monitoring of output quality

"Digitálny podnik 2015" dealt with the most significant issues of the INDUSTRY 4.0 strategic line which will determine the future orientation and development of industry.

The Conference offered expert lectures about new trends, visionary preconditions and actual solutions of digital companies in actual companies in Slovakia and abroad.

ANASOFT presented the third generation of its EMANS MOM system, this time as a practical example in a simulated manufacturing company where the conference participants could try picking parts from supermarkets, various assembling workplaces, the pairing of components, final assembly and final inspection.

A comprehensive overview of the state of production could also be monitored on one of the screens (human-machine-interface) of the system with remote access to allow the company manager to comfortably monitor the processing of individual orders from any location with an internet connection. Visitors to the ANASOFT stand could also observe a unique method of contactless production confirmation by using a Microsoft Kinect camera.

Feel free to contact us if you are interested in finding out more about the benefits of the EMANS solution for your company. We will be happy to present a production simulation via EMANS directly on your premises.
