Record Setting Automobile Production in Slovakia in 2015

2015, the year in which automobile production in Slovakia exceeded 1 million vehicles, will most certainly become an important milestone in the history of the automotive industry of Slovakia. The Reuters News Agency provided this information.

The Anasoft EMANS solution helped manufacturers produce components for more than 200 000 automobiles of the prestigious Audi, BMW, Porsche and VW brands.
As Reuters states, Slovakia, with a population of 5.4 million people, is the world largest per capita manufacturer of automobiles, for which the Volkswagen, Kia Motors and PSA Peugeot Citroën factories were responsible.
Analysts expect that the aforementioned production level will increase by 3 % in 2016. They also expect further growth as the Jaguar Land Rover division plans to open a new plant here in 2018.
