The aim of the project was to deploy operations management of component picking (kitting), assembly, and quality control on the shop floor of the production of bumpers. In addition to process control, the Smart Industry management system EMANS collects and archives information and parameters about each manufactured product during the entire assembly process in the Plastic Omnium plant.

- Implementation of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) module of the Smart Industry system EMANS
- Deployment of an in-house network of internet of things (IoT)
- Implementation of Pick-to-Light system in the process of component feeding
- Visualization of work instructions at shop floor workstations
- Monitoring of scrap causes
- Integration of the system EMANS with automated storage equipment KARDEX
- Integration of the system EMANS with the company´s ERP system
- Deployment of EDI communication
- Deployment of QR technologx and system of cameras
- Implementation of RFID technology

- Optimization of manufacturing operations management

- Automatic generation of detailed product´s digital birth certificate
- Outbound quality control including automated taking photos of manufactured products leaving production
