ANASOFT developed Schengen Visa Information System for Ministry of Internal Affairs of Slovak Republic

Visa information system is a comprehensive national software application system interfacing with the National Gateway of the Schengen Information System. It processes and documents persons wishing to enter the Schengen area covering visa agenda, agenda of certification of the applicants’ invitation and agenda of application for permission for an extended stay.
Evaluation of applications takes place in real time. In case of negative lustration (rejection) application is evaluated in a short (a few seconds) time. System has integrated the whole processing that the VISION consultation system required. Evaluation and answer to VISION consultation messages is accomplished also in approximately 5 seconds. In cases when automated evaluation is not possible or when unacceptable applications are evaluated, manual processing by users is utilized. Definition of rules covering switching between automated and manual processing is provided.
