AMUN Analysis and Dashboards

AMUN Analysis and Dashboards brings Amun reporting into “more intelligent” solutions category.  It puts rich, analytic power in the hands of knowledge workers and helps them to operate with maximum efficiency by gaining the insights and understanding they need for optimal decision making. For example, if a report shows sales trends lower than expected, analysts need to be able to easily uncover the underlying causes by getting answers to questions such as:

  • Is the problem with one product line, or certain regions?
  • What’s different about this combination versus another which doesn’t have problems?
  • Is there a related problem with sales headcount? Marketing campaigns? Or something else?

AMUN Analysis helps answer these kinds of business questions by:

  • mechanisms for analytical queries to freely explore business information by dragging, dropping, drilling into, and cross-tabulating data.
  • Integration with OLAP (ROLAP) architecture with advanced view caching (built in OLAP server or 3rd party OLAP integration).
  • Complete integration with all other AMUN reporting components (Amun reporting and BI portal, report wizards, security and scheduling).

Built–in OLAP server capabilities:

  • OLAP server written in JAVA (Mondrian) supporting MDX and JOLAP.
  • Automatic conversion of MDX requests into SQL queries
  • Integrated multi-level caching of data, dimensions and user information.

Amun Dashboards is a combination of reporting and analysis providing interactive visual displays for quickly assessing business metrics and immediate insight into company performance.  It offers:
