Application for traffic analysis for on-line cameras - VEHICLE COUNTER
Anasoft has developed application for traffic analysis for on-line cameras. Monitoring and recognition of moving objects is provided through set of software solutions, which serves for traffic density analysis and counting various kinds of vehicles in road traffic. This solution is based on advanced technology of image recognition, which originates from video recording (for example in avi, mpeg and other formats), or from online image source (Web camera, IP camera and suchlike).
The main principle of recognition is motion detection in cooperation with virtual sensors – areas overlaying the monitored image specifying the measuring areas. Position and size of sensors is easily adjustable, so the requirements on the system can be customized in real time. It is possible to divide the input video recording to optional number of video files. Results for individual video files (or separated by defined time period) are stored into table as afile in XLS format for MS Excel. During measuring and recognition any vehicle can be assigned alength and subsequently separate those into groups (for example distinguish cars from trucks).
Application can be used for example on highways when it is necessary to gather exact information about current road utilization as well as other statistically accurate data.
SPEECH SYNTHETIS - Text-To-Speech
TTS (Text-To-Speech) synthesis is a process which converts „raw“ text as an input parameter to audio recording.
Aim of this process is to create intelligible voice signal, which preserves the original meaning of text. Some systems produce speech almost indiscernible from human.
Developing universal TTS system is adifficult task. Such system must involve many styles (reading e-mails, messages, newspapers, books, internet...), and sufficient number of voices.
ANASOFT cooperates with Department of transportation networks from Faculty of management science on the University of Žilina, on development project named „Voice output for www“ from the area of „utilizing information – communication technologies as an instrument for handicapped students“
Project is aimed to provide students with dyslexia or those visually impaired access to information portals and system of e-learning by the means of automatic text reading.
SEMANTIC ANALYSIS - APVV – INTERCOMPANY interoperability
Processing of natural language concerns with human to computer communication using natural language like English or Slovak, instead of special commands, menus and symbols. To solve the problem, not only the knowledge of computer science is used, but of course also from linguistics and psychology. NLP (natural language processing) is after expert systems the biggest application of artificial intelligence.
Semantic analysis of text is a method used to analyze terminological and content structure of text. In relation to research objective we discern several approaches. Content analysis is focused on quantitative analysis of frequency structure of texts aimed at characterizing their content structure. Lexicographic qualitative analysis of terminological text structure is used to create terminological dictionary. Linguistic analysis analyzes relations and connections between selected elements of text and context. Mentioned methods are structured, so it is possible to apply them when examining large data files stored in computer storages.
Semantic interoperability represents intelligible communication between organizations. It is intelligible not only for humans, but also for computers. Solutions exist in this area to process information (e.g. RosettaNet and ebXML), or even employing the standards for ontology like Resource Description Framework (RDF) or Web Ontology Language (OWL). In AIIA system we want to utilize and extend solutions based on pattern lookup. These will later facilitate the semantic enhancement of news, communication and documents.
Problem of inter-company interoperability, thus the interconnection of systems, tasks, cooperation, inter-company processes, data and information resources echoes in last decades research. Achieved results are suitable for large organizations but without direct impact on small companies which mostly forms the economy of every country.
Small companies need to solve problems of interoperability with other small companies, large companies, public sector and their customers as well.
Each one from available solutions supporting interoperability requires extensive investments, difficult integration and transformation of software tools and thus the working environment of users.
An available solution is practically nonexistent for small companies as well as for freely connected and collaborating small organizations.
Recommendations of Enterprise Interoperability Research Roadmap, a discussion result of several major EU projects supporting interoperability.
ISU - Interoperability Service Utility is:
- available for low price,
- available of basically all companies and organizations (universal principles)
- guarantee of certain level through defined rules,
- not controlled or owned by any specific private organization.
ANASOFT is member of research consortium of project „AIIA – Adaptive platform for interoperability support in private and public sector“. Project is funded by the research and development Agency.
