The Challenge

Anasoft was invited by Unisys to cooperate in C-NET project, a Flemish cultural web portal www.cultuurweb.be.

 

The solution

A database carrying culture-related information, to which public has access, lies at the heart of this project. Also modules supporting more intensive communication of users with portal (e.g. e-zine, pinboard, inform a friend) were added to it. Furthermore, it got closer to its regular visitors by enabling registration, creation of own profile and personalised webpages.

 

Applied Technology

The application was designed as a multi-tier platform, using

  • the Microsoft .NET platform
  • the SQL Server database
  • the SPS (Sharepoint Portal Server) services.
